After CDN capability is configured, you can work with your tenant administrator to enable a private CDN for the Image Library that you want to use as the source for your autorotating web part. To do this, the administrator must run additional scripts for the source image library.
When you add a modern page to a site, you add and customize web parts, which are the building blocks of your page. You can connect some web parts to each other to create an interactive and dynamic experience for your page viewers. For example, you can connect a Document library web part to a File viewer web part. When a user clicks a file name in the Document library list, the File viewer shows the contents of that specific file. Or, connect a List web part to an Embed web part, and add custom code for a variety of dynamic experiences.
From the list of available out of the box web parts, choose Picture Library. Picture Library is sort of like Document Library, except it is designed specifically for images. It has special views and metadata built in, related specifically to photos and images (i.e. picture preview, thumbnail views, image size, etc.)
The Document Library web part displays a document library and customize it with your own title, view, and even size. Users with appropriate permissions can view or edit files directly from the web part, or can go to the full document library by clicking See all.

I'm using sharepoint 2013 for our works teamsite. On the home page I use the web part to display staff photos from a picture library. This has worked in the past fine - updating every 5 seconds. When the page comes up it displays a random photo from the library but it no longer updates the photo after the time period. If navigating away from the page and back again a different photo does display. Settings for the web part are Duration: 5 seconds, Library view - All pictures, display mode - random, Display with: Title and description to right, fixed ht 200, fixed width 300,
I've deleted the web part and recreated. I created a new picture library and copied pictures across in case there was something wrong with the library. I've tried IE, Edge and chrome. Have run out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated.
This issue is fixed now for the customer. Using Microsoft Support, they were able to make required changes serverside which caused the issue for some Office 365 users. For some users specific users attributes were not set, for others they were according to Microsoft, although were not able to change these from our side. Microsoft changed things serverside to handle this. After a serverside sync update, the Office 365 profile pictures also started to display for each user inside the SharePoint People web part on Modern Site Pages.
It means when the user upload a new picture using outlook, this process to push the new version of the picture into the specific image lib placed into the person web app ( Photos/ ).
2) For a different user I found that the picture was not synced to EXO. In this case, MS support asked me to ask the user to upload the photo again via outlook web access. User uploaded the photo but it still dosen't show up in the People web part and its more than 96 hours. Surprising thing is that the picture was showing up in delve. I asked MS support if its not present in EXO, from where does it display in Delve ?. They are yet to answer the question
The Document library web part allows you to select a single library within the current SharePoint site, from which to display contents. The web part will display the name of the document library at the top, but you as the page designer can name the web part whatever you choose by typing into the title area.
In the resulting web part display, any column formatting or folders will be displayed as they are within the library. People can use the column headers to sort, group, and filter files as they would within the library itself.
Note that any settings you change within the web part do not affect the underlying library views and do not persist when your page reloads, unless you save the changes. A user can also click on the See All link within the web part, to open the underlying library, though be aware that it opens on the same tab unless the user right-clicks and chooses to open in a new tab.
Users with the appropriate permissions can also create and upload files in the library from within the web part, sync files, and export to Excel. And when a file is selected, users can download, rename, or delete the file, or pin it to the top. This gives a fairly robust experience on the page. However, there are some command bar actions which are not (as of this writing) supported in the Document Library Web Part: flows, alerts, share/link, copy/move, version history, and check out/in.
In this instance, the file viewer webpart and document library web part are connected to ensure that users can browse campaign documents that are set as a library with ease. By connecting these web parts, the user will be able to read the content on each page without opening each file or leaving the page. Here are the steps:
5. A drop-down box Connect to source will appear, and the names of document library web part on that page will appear. Pick the name of your document library. Mine is the SOW Library, as you can see in the above screen shot.
